My name is Joke Roosenbroeck (pronounced “yo-keh r-oh-zenbrook,” meaning “rose marsh”), and I am the woman behind the brand Franky Dalle. From a young age, I discovered a deep passion for art and fashion that has shaped my journey. Growing up in a small town, I’ve carried this love for creative expression into everything I do.
Franky Dalle is a small brand based in Westerlo, Belgium, where I bring together my love for art and fashion. In addition to designing clothing and creating art pieces, I also take on commissioned work from time to time. My extensive training in sewing, textiles, patternmaking, and fashion design has allowed me to turn my passion into a great side hustle. My love for drawing and painting was passed down from my grandmother, who inspired me from a young age. What began as simple pen drawings at the age of six evolved over the years, eventually growing to include oil painting. By sixteen, I had enrolled in art classes, and around eighteen, I added pastels to my techniques. Most recently, in 2022, I began experimenting with acrylics and other materials to create unique pieces.
